Our Ambassador in Germany

Martin Haselbock Martin Haselböck studied the harpsichord, organ, composition and conducting in Vienna and Paris. Already well known as winner of numerous organ prizes and competitions, he then embarked on an international solo career. His concert schedule regularly takes him to major festivals, and he has made over sixty recordings ranging in repertoire from Bach to Liszt to contemporary composers.

Many important composers have written for him, including Ernst Krenek who dedicated both of his organ concertos to him. His love of early music spurred him to found the Wiener Akademie Orchester, and he is conductor of the Wiener Akademie, with whom he has recorded around 40 CDs.

He is often invited to conduct other leading orchestras, and remains an active solo artist, having recently presented inaugural concerts for several concert hall organs in Europe and the Far East.

As a Vienna Court organist and professor of organ at the University of Music in Lübeck he also regularly gives master classes throughout Europe, the United States and Japan.
