Pier-Damiano PerettiPier-Damiano Peretti After gaining a diploma for organ playing at the Conservatory of Vicenza, Pier moved to Vienna in 1996 to study at the Musikuniversität in the classes of Herbert Tachezi and Michael Radulescu for the organ and of Wolfgang Suppan for composition. 

In June 2002 he achieved the diploma in "Orgelkonzertfach" with distinction. 

From October of the same year he became professor of organ at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater of Hannover (Germany). 

He has participated in a number of competitions, and has gained first prizes at Viterbo (1997) and St Albans (1999).

He has undertaken an intense programme of recitals throughout Europe on historical instruments (including Alkmaar, Innsbruck, and Haarlem) and also modern instruments (including Manchester-Bridgewater Hall, Paris-Notre-Dame, and Vienna-St.Augustin). He also composes, and publishes reviews. He teaches and conducts seminars at Hochschule Groningen, University of Göteborg, and Norddeutsche Orgelakademie Stade.
