The  50th Anniversary International Organ Festival at St Albans will take place on the 11th to 20th July 2013.

Thursday 7 July 2011:  Concert: Liu Ji (piano) & the Thom String Quartet. .

Saturday 9 July 2011:  Elgar, The Dream of Gerontius, Catherine Wyn-Rogers (mezzo-soprano), Toby Spence (tenor), Stephen Roberts (bass).

Sunday 10 July 2011:   Recital: Dame Felicity Lott (soprano) and Sebastian Wybrew (piano)

Monday 11 July  2011: Three Choirs Concert:  Choirs of: New College, Oxford, St Albans Cathedral and Winchester Cathedral,  His Majestys Sagbutts and Cornetts. 

Tuesday 12 July 2011:  Recital: Stephen Kovacevich (piano)

Wednesday 13 July 2011:   Concert: Desford Colliery Band,
                                 
Thursday 14 July 2011:  Late night  Concert: Rachel Podger (violin).

Friday 15 July 2011: Organ recital: Bine Katrine Bryndorf.

Saturday 16 July 2011:  Competition Prizewinners’ Concert & Presentation of Awards.



Services in St Albans Cathedral

Services in St Albans Cathedral are part of the regular round of daily choral services directed by Master of the Music Andrew Lucas. Tom Winpenny is the Director of the Abbey Girls choir and accompanies the services along with Peter Holder, the Organ Scholar.
